Quarries & Mobile Drilling, Blasting & Crushing

Both quarries can provide a full range of quarry products including aggregates suitable for concrete and sealing applications, road base materials that meet both RTA and VIC Roads specifications, gabion and hammered rock. We can deliver this in bulk via our fleet of Tippers or if required these materials can be loaded into bulk bags for transport.

Currenntly Burgess Earthmoving supplies quarry products to Wagga Wagga City Council, Albury City Council, Lockhart Shire Council, Greater Hume Shire Council, Indigo Shire Council and Corowa Shire Council.

In addition to council contracts Burgess Earthmoving regularly supplies quarry products to NSW RMS and NSW Soil Conservation service and in the past we have provided quarry products for large projects to Abigroup, BMD, Southern Improvement Alliance and a number of major contractors. In the past both quarries combined have averaged around 400000 tonne output per annum providing quarry materials for the installation of passing lanes on the Sydney/Melbourne rail line, the Albury bypass and the Southern Hume Alliance duplication of the Hume highway and the SLEAP Stage 2 at Kapooka Military Area and RAAF Base Wagga. 

We currently have a full range of mobile crushing equipment including tracked primary & secondary crushing units, & tracked screens. We also offer for hire a fully mobile tracked pugmill which is capable of producing high quality material blending for stabilizing road based materials with the addition of water, cement, lime and can also be used for blending at asphalt plants, cold emulsified asphalt mixing (Cold Mix) to Roller compacted Concrete

(RCC) and flowable backfill and pre-coating.
